A dream come true: St. Michael's resident to see Bon Jovi in concert

Patty Manley, a resident at St. Michael's Health and Rehabilitation Center, Virginia, Minn., is a big fan of the rock band Bon Jovi. So when staff at the facility heard they would be playing in St. Paul in April, they wanted to surprise her with tickets.

Thanks to the Benedictine Health System Foundation's Making Dreams Come True program, they were able to make that happen.

The Making Dreams Come True program provides financial support to facilities who want to grant an unfulfilled dream to a resident. Oftentimes, residents yearn to be able to participate in a pastime or activity that was once their norm—or even do something they’ve never done before—but it is above and beyond the scope of what the facilities can provide.
