Responsible for providing personal care per an individual care plan, as well as observing and reporting changes in a guest’s condition and/or needs. Will provide and assist as necessary with housekeeping duties. Promote and plan guest activities that are appropriate, while encouraging as much independence as possible.

Required

• Must be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity
• Must have good communication skills
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
• Must be able to work as a team member, follow directions, adapt to change and demonstrate a positive attitude.
• Must be able to handle physical and/or verbal abuse from guests in an appropriate professional manner.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality (HIPAA)

 Preferred

• Previous hospital or nursing home experience
• CPR certified

Must have organizational skills, ability to observe and report patient/resident status and implement the plan of care. Must be able to manage multiple priorities.
