LIVING COMMUNITY MODEL
The Benedictine Health System continues to strengthen its commitment and leadership in senior care with the implementation of a progressive concept in health care delivery.
BHS is developing the Living Community model to include the latest innovations and approaches for elder care. The BHS Living Community features independent senior housing, assisted living and nursing homes all on one campus; and offers modern, safe, comfortable surroundings in a compassionate environment.
With a spectrum of care options on one campus, residents are provided with a range of health care options, social activities and an array of services. Placing these services on one location results in consolidation of services for the facilities that means cost-saving benefits for the residents.
BHS is readily searching for opportunities to establish more Living Communities in the regions we serve.
